Belarusian Banking System May Collapse at Any Moment, Bogdankevich says

The former head of the National Bank of Belarus Stanislav Bogdankevich believes that banking system of Belarus may collapse at any moment. According to the expert, now in Belarus a kind of "financial pyramid" is created: the companies borrow money to pay salaries, but not to implement any investment projects.

Bank. «The debts have grown by
42%. What is a credit policy? Where are credits? They go to the
maintenance of inefficient interprises. Social credit. For the employee
who came to work for 500 thousand rubles, and sits there without doing something. Even if one gets a million. Do we need these credits?

National Bank right? «- asks the former head of the National Bank, Radio

The banker believes that
«financial pyramid», observed in Belarus,
creates a danger that system may be buried
as a result due to the fact that these loans will never come back.
