After the Belarusian National Bank's abolition of the recommendations on the establishment of the foreign currency exchange rate, the country's banks again started to take Belarusian rubles for repayment of foreign currency loans. In this case, there has been set a single exchange rate of Br 4.000 per dollar.

Thus, Priorbank and Bank of Moscow-Minsk take Belarusian rubles both in monthly payments and in early repayment of foreign currency loans. Others Belarusian banks take the currency only for payments on current payments, transfers Infobank.by.

At the same time, customers of RRB-Bank can repay the loan only in the currency in which the loan has been issued.

Customers of VTB Bank will have to open a current account for immediate payment of the debt for foreign currency loans in Belarusian rubles. The cost of this service today is more than Br80 thousand (Br20 thousand + $15).

It is also reported that Belrosbank has temporarily suspended the possibility of paying the current payment through the offices of Belposhta and Belarusbank. It will only be possible to make a monthly repay of foreign currency loans at branches of the bank.

As Telegraf previously reported, to align with currency situation in the country, May 11, 2011, National Bank lifted recommendation restrictions for banks to establish exchange rates in foreign currency buy-and-sell transactions with the public, set at a rate of + / -2% of the official rate.
