62-year-old Belarussian Yuri Maksimovich, being homeless for several years in Moscow, gave the last money for "Gosloto" ticket and won RUB700 thousand (more than $24 thousand). The Belarusian bomzh (vagrant) chose an unusual combination of digits — all the numbers from one dozen: 34, 36, 32, 31, 30. "I've selected according to my special dates: the jubilee or those memorable for me," said the lucky man.

«Many people have been playing the lottery for 30 years, developing different systems. They use analytical theory of probabilities by Laplace while completing tickets and — nothing! And here are five digits of one dozen! And bingo — $700 thousand!» said a Gosloto representative.

According to the Belarusian, having learnt about the prize, he decided to build a house in Belarus and to live there with his dog. Yuri Maximovich used to be a coach in the sports school, but then his family died in a car accident. Having lost the house, he decided to move to Moscow, where he went on the bum, surviving by occasional work, reports Life News.

«He lives with his dog — the only friend — where it happens. When we looked at his passport, we saw that he was Belorussian with neither residence nor registration in Moscow,» noted in «Gosloto.»
