Belarusian Companies in Venezuela to Work Profitably, Ministry of Industry

Minister of Industry of Belarus, Alexander Radzevich, on April 6, at the opening of the sixth international specialized exhibition, Engineering Industry-2010, said that Belarusian products are well known in the Latin American market. "Nobody bases the work of enterprises, focusing on the loss, so, we will work profitably in Venezuela", the head of Ministry of Industry said.

According to the minister, Belarus and Venezuela has been working for some years. At the same time, Alexander Radzevich stressed that high-level visits give a «new impetus» to the two countries’ relations. «This year, we signed a few documents that will lead Belarusian industry to a new stage of development», the head of Ministry of Industry said, BelTA informs.

«In particular, we signed contracts on building of two factories for tractors and other vehicles production in Venezuela», Alexander Radzevich said. «It will be built in a year, and then we’ll begin to assemble the equipment. Now, the construction of plants is at the planning stage, the ground is already allotted.

According to the minister, it is expected that new plants in Venezuela will release its first products in mid 2011. At the same time, Alexander Radzevich noted that Ministry of Industry’s challenge is to bring the production to the consumer.

«We invest our new technologies in Venezuela, and Venezuela invests its funds. All Belarusian know-how are protected, there are agreements signed to preserve and protect intellectual property rights in Belarus», the Minister of Industry summed up.
