Belarusian Oil Company plans to buy from Venezuela and bring to Belarus four million tons of oil in the next 12 months. It was stated by the deputy director of the company, Alexander Demidov, according to whom, in the future Belarus will annually buy 10 million tons of "black gold" from Venezuela.

The representative of the BOC said that it is not planned to change the ways of Venezuelan oil delivery, carried out through the port of Odessa, so far, but in perspective it is possible to establish the supply through the Baltic ports, BelTA informs.

«Today, we are able to shift crude oil through Odessa — in principle, in our opinion, it is a reliable partner who fully justified what it had promised in terms of shipment’ uninterrupted process, maintenance of  goods’ quality and quantity», Alexander Demidov said.

The second batch of Venezuelan oil, similar by its volume to the first, is to arrive in Belarus via the already established pattern: through the port of Odessa and then along the railway, said the deputy head of the BOC, adding that the processing of the first 80 thousand tons at Mozyr Oil Refinery has been almost completed.
