The draw of "Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010" participants took place in "Minsk-Arena" in the evening on October 14. Belarusian Daniel Kozlov will perform under the 12th number. At the same time Belarus has already thrice performed the 12th. Lithuanians will be the first to perform, and the participants from Macedonia — the last ones.
«LAD» executive producer, the head of the Belarusian delegation at «Junior Eurovision-2010» Lyudmila Borodina hopes that the 12-th number, chosen by the will of fate on Thursday, will bring Daniel Kozlov luck in the contest, BelTA informs.
«It’s hard to say for the number to be happy or not. The contest will show. I judge by the participants (who, like Daniel, will perform in the second half of the show — Telegraf): Armenia and Georgia have always exhibited very strong competitors. It’s impossible to predict anything. Let’s hope for the best,» Lyudmila Borodina said.
Daniel Kozlov is 13 years. He came to conquer the city from a small town Zhabinka in the Brest voblast. The boy began to show his creative abilities at the age of three and since then has been singing for ten years. In the finale of «Junior Eurovision-2010», to be held in «Minsk-Arena» on November 20, he will perform the song «Music of Light», containing excerpts from the legendary works «Moonlight Sonata» by Beethoven. 14 countries will be competing for international recognition and win at the most popular songs show in Europe. Lithuania is already known to perform the first, followed in a different order by Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, Serbia, Sweden and the Netherlands. The second part of the competition will host besides Belarus (number 12) the participants from Armenia, Belgium, Georgia, Latvia, Malta, Macedonia (number 14).
