Belarusian Special Squad Soldier Died at Training Ground

Commission of Ministry of Defense and Belarusian Military Prosecutor's Office is finding out the details of accident occurred during routine combat training. As a result of negligent handling of weapons, conscription service soldier of special operations forces was wounded, what led to his death.

Defense Ministry expressed its condolences to the family and friends of the victim and assured that the family would be provided with all necessary assistance, reported in the ministry.

However, Defense Ministry did not specify the name of the dead soldier, his unit number and place of the routine training.
