Belarusian Spy Arrested in Poland

A member of  the Polish Internal Security Agency (ISA) worked for belarusian intelligence. This information contained the annual report of the ISA, presented on March 9, 2010 to parliamentary commission on security services. The trial upon detainee is classified.

Robert R. -officer of ISA Bialystok Branch- charged with «collaborating with foreign intelligence», was detained in February 2008. The datainee is under an accusation of espionage, according to Art. 130 of the Criminal Code of Poland. The trial begun in December 2009.

According to the report, Robert R’s Belarusian communication agent was Belarusian Olga Solomenik, who owned firm in Bialystok. Immediately after the arrest of Robert R she disappeared. Because of that she was put on the wanted list, said ISA spokesman Colonel Katarzyna Koniecpolska-Wroblewska, Gazeta Wyborcza reports.

At the moment, information about Olga Solomenik can be found on the Austrian marriage portal, in section «Russische Frauen». She is looking for «a man up to 60 years». According to information on the portal, Olga Solomenik  is «openminded, cheerful, loves sports, travelling, tennis and children, speaks English, doesn’t smoke,» says Gazeta Wyborcza.
