Minsk taxi driver knocked down a pedestrian, crossing the road at the zebra crossing at Leschinski street on March 10. The network has a video of the incident, displaying the way similar accident occur.
The record shows the cars slowing down at the zebra crossing to let a pedestrian pass. A young man, talking on a cell phone, steps onto «zebra.» Money collectors’ car applied the brake before the crossing. Taxi car is moving along the neighboring lane. Pedestrian begins to accelerate and is, eventually, run over by a car.
The incident occurred near the intersection, the driver made an emergency stop. A passenger went out of the money collectors’ car and rushed to help the injured young man.
The causes and the culprit of accidents are still to be established by the traffic police.
