A 41-year-old resident of Minsk, poured herself with gasoline and set herself on fire at the balcony of her apartment at 18 Tikotski street, Minsk. Having noticed what's happening, mother of a woman tried to stop her daughter, but only received burns of 25% of the body eventually. The woman died on the spot, her mother was taken to hospital. This was stated by the press-officer of Pershamayski police department Olga Kutsko.
As reported at the police department, the died woman had been acutely suffering from the divorce with her husband, which could have caused a tragedy. She had recently moved to her parents, where she committed suicide, the agency «Minsk-news.»
