Belarusians Become World Champions in Pentathlon Relay

Men's modern pentathlon team of Belarus won relay at the world championship. In China's Chengdu there were awarded Mikhail Prokopenko, Dmitry Melyakh and Mikhail Mitsyk who scored 6132 points in total.

World’s silver became the team of South Korea — 6108 points, while bronze went to Russian pentathletes — 6026 points, BelTA informs. Belarusians repeated their success they had two years ago when they also reached the highest step of the podium.

The world championship will end on Tuesday, September 7, with women’s relay race.
