A huge comet comes nearer to the Earth. In some days people will be able to see it in the sky to the naked eye, the representatives of the Republican meteorological centre of Belarus (Belhydrometcenter) informed. The giant will come nearer to the Earth at a distance about 170 million kilometres on June, 15th.
It will be possible to see distinctly bright point in firmament. Watching in the field glass, people will see its greenish train. McNaught comet will be well visible in the east of the northern hemisphere before sunrise in the second half of June and before sunset in the beginning of July, weather forecasters said.
McNaught comet is named in after the Australian astronomer who opened it in last year, Belhydrometcenter informs. The head of the heavenly body exceeds the diameter of Jupiter, and the length of the train has already reached one million kilometres.
