Chairman of the Republic Council of the National Assembly of Belarus Anatoli Rubinov is convinced that the current economic situation in Belarus is normal. "Our economy is in fact working properly. Nothing has happened. Belarusian exports are growing, agriculture is working, GDP is increasing. There is no reason to panic," said Anatoli Rubinov.

According to the chairman of the Council of the Republic, all the financial difficulties, including foreign exchange, are temporary. Anatoli Rubinov, as well as head of state Alexander Lukashenko, believes that problems with currency are largely due to the excessive demand for cars, triggered by the introduction of customs duties on cars, BelTA informs.

«Problems have always been and will be, society is developing, its needs are growing as well,» said Anatoli Rubinov.

As Telegraf previously reported, the president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, stated on April 5  about the boom in the foreign exchange market was due to the increase in customs duties on cars and would subside in July. Shortage of currency has also been associated by the Belarusian president with increases in raw materials and energy world prices. Head of state said that currency issues would be resolved within a maximum of two months.
