The First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko stated that the government intended to receive six or seven billion dollars after sale of Belaruskali shares. «The country needs free money, not credits, even under 2-3 % because they are also the credits which we are to repay», Vladimir Semashko said.
In this case, the deputy head of government stressed that controlling or blocking stake will not be given to anyone. According to the State Property Committee, the authorized capital of Belaruskalii amounted to about Br6 trillion ($2 billion).
