Belenergo Concern promises Russia to fulfill all contractual obligations on electricity supply. It was reported by leading engineer of RUE "Dispatch control" SM "Belenergo", Vladimir Korduba. According to leading engineer, Belarus and Russia are connected with three power lines (PL). «Right now, electricity is supplied by two lines. They have high enough power. On one of them, the electric current — with 330 kV voltage -goes to Vitebsk direction, the second — to Mogilev», Vladimir Korduba said, BelTA informs.
The specialist noted that the third PL — with 750 kV capacity -going from Smolensk nuclear power plant to «Belorusskaya» substation is now being repaired according to the plan. «Existing defects is being resolved there. But it does not affect the possibility of Russian energy supplies. Belarus has the opportunity to receive electricity using the two working in normal regime», the leading engineer informed.
Vladimir Korduba noted there are no other failures of Belarusian power lines’ work, except scheduled repair of the third PL. «At the moment, in Gomel direction, electricity is coming to the country from Ukraine. Through Belarusian PLs, Lithuania receives electricity from Kaliningrad «, the expert said.
Belenergo asked Russia to start electricity supply in full volume
