March 29, state concern Belneftekhim has imposed restrictions on a one-time release of diesel fuel at the border petrol stations of Belorusneft company. Thus client can simultaneously acquire up to 100 liters of diesel fuel at 34 border stations.
The company has explained that the restrictions had been imposed due to the increased export of intra-priced petroleum products in motor vehicles outside the country, as well as in order to protect the domestic market.»
As Telegraf previously reported, 13% more fuel has been sold at the Belarusian border petrol stations in January-February than in the first two months of 2010, including sales of diesel fuel, which has increased by 22%. In particular, Belorusneft gas stations have sold 33% more, while the sales at the stations in the direction of Lithuania and Latvia have increased by 50%.
