Beltransgaz Supervisory Board is Headed by Gazprom Deputy Chairman

Deputy chairman of Gazprom, Valery Golubev, is elected as the head of Beltransgaz supervisory board. As Beltransgaz spokesman, Vladimir Chekov, reported, the decision was taken on March 31, at a general meeting of Beltransgaz shareholders. First Vice-Premier of Belarus, Vladimir Semashko, was elected as Vice-Chairman of the supervisory board.

According to Vladimir Chekov, the shareholders’ meeting elected the supervisory board of eight people (four — from Belarus, four — from Gazprom). «Supervisory board includes four representatives of state authorities: besides Vladimir Semashko, here are the Minister of Energy, Alexander Ozerets, First Deputy Energy Minister, Eduard Tovpenets, and director of the State Property Fund of Belarusian State Property Committee, Natalia Zhernosek, from Belarusian side», Beltransgaz press secretary said.

On the Russian side, supervisory board consists of: the Head of corporate control of the Department of Property Management and Corporate Relations of Gazprom, Nikolai Vasiliev, member of the board of Gazprom, the head of the legal department of Gazprom, Nikolai Dubik, head of department on work with near abroad countries of marketing, gas and liquid hydrocarbons processing department of Gazprom, Alexander Frolov.

According to Vladimir Chekov, at the past general meeting of Beltransgaz shareholders, there was also examined and approved a report on the results of the company’s last year activity and report of the audit commission, the audit commission and Beltransgaz directorate ware elected «. Beltransgaz ensures gas supply and gas transportation through the whole territory of Belarus. The company operates about seven thousand gas pipelines with a diameter of 100 to 1 400 mm, and also services Belarusian section of Yamal-Europe main gas pipeline, owned by Gazprom.
