Belarusian government and Gazprom signed a protocol on allocations of joint Belarus-Russia gas transportation organizations, Beltransgaz, to Innovation fund of Belarus' Energy Ministry. According to the document, for 2011-2012 Belarus is obliged to set standard norms of Beltransgaz's assignments to innovation funds of the Republic at a level, not exceeding the minimum size of this norm in Belarus.

The report of Gazprom also provides that the Belarusian side has given guarantees that it will not set individual taxes, charges and allocations for Beltransgaz, BelaPAN informs.

Russian gas monopoly’s report also stipulates that «funds, obtained from reducing allocations to the Innovation Fund, will be directed to the construction of underground gas storage facilities in Belarus».

Moreover, Gazprom has confirmed the information on signing with Beltransgaz of addition to the contract for the supply and transit of Russian «blue fuel» on Belarus’ territory in 2007-2011.

«Taking in account that the Belarusian side has raised the wholesale price mark-up for gas, sold by Beltransgaz, for 2010, as it was stipulated when buying a stake of the company’s shares by Gazprom, to 11.09 dollars, the rate for Russian gas transit in 2010 will be 1.88 per 100 kilometers», reads the statement of Gazprom.
