BMW Crashed into Group of Cyclists on Ring Road- Video

Wednesday, March 9, around 17:00, BMW car drove into a group of sports cyclists of 12 people on the Minsk ring road. There were adolescents of 13-14 years old among them, as well as two coaches. Currently, eight injured are in the city hospitals, said the duty doctor of the ambulance station Denis Moiseenko.

The doctor explained that trauma of the victims, taken to the stationary departments of hospitals, were not heavy, but they needed care and constant medical supervision. It is not known how long the athletes’ treatment will take, BelTA informs.

Denis Moiseenko also told that some cyclists were psychological distressed and needed outpatient treatment. Bike Ride participants noted that the brunt of road accidents was taken by coaches, bringing up the rear.

According to the preliminary information of Minsk Traffic Police, the young man was driving a passenger car on the rightmost lane and then diverted his attention to the wagon, moving on the adjacent lane, which, eventually, resulted in the accident, reports Onliner.by.

BMW driver was taken to a medical examination. The accident is currently being investigated.
