Republican budget amounted to 13.8 trillion rubles in January — June 2010. Thus, the annual plan was fulfilled at 38.8%. The national budget deficit amounted to 1.7 trillion. rubles for the first six months of 2010. This was reported in the Ministry of Finance of Belarus on July, 22nd.
Income tax revenues amounted to half a trillion rubles (41.8% of the annual plan). During January-June 2010 the state budget got VAT at the amount of five trillion rubles (39,7%). Revenues from foreign economic activity amounted to 2.9 trillion rubles (29%), described in the Ministry of Finance.
On July 1, 2010 citizens’ debts to the budget amounted to 58.7 billion rubles, equivalent to the level of the beginning of the year.
National budgetary expenditures for the first half of 2010 amounted to 15.5 trillion rubles (39.4% of the annual plan). 2.9 trillion rubles of them (50.6%) were spent on financing of social sector (social policy, education, health, physical education, sport, culture and mass media), 4.7 trillion rubles (35,8%) were spent on the national economy. The costs of nationwide activities amounted to about 6.5 trillion rubles (38.2%).
