Cars crossed off the register in Belarus should be cleared by the customs in the prescribed manner to be imported to Russia with the aim of selling. It's informed in the letter of Russian Federal Customs Service dated on March 24, 2010 N 04-30/13941 "On the direction of information".
«According to the representation of Russian customs at the customs service of Belarus, after the implementation of the agreement between two governments on temporary import and export of vehicles, on February 24, 2010, increased the number of cases when Belarusians imported to Russia vehicles — crossed off the register in Belarusian — directly for sale», stated in the letter, reported in Russian Federal Customs Service.
In the FCS said that in the case of detection of such vehicles in the customs territory of Russia «customs clearance must be made after the verification activities and decision on a disciplinary measure adoption».
