Cat Set Fire to Apartment and Died

In Homel, Belarus, a four-room apartment was set on fire as a result of the pet cat's games with a sconce. The pet used to enjoy playing with lamps, switching them on and off, while its hosts were out. A hot sconce fell onto the couch one day, which subsequently caught fire. The apartment was left with its blacken walls and damaged property. The cat couldn't be saved — he died because of heavy smoke.
