Secretary of the Central Election Commission of Belarus Nikolai Lozovik told that the CEC did not prohibit the media to publish the exit polls' results at the polling stations during voting in the presidential elections. At the same time the CEC doesn't consider it as violations that one of the channels announced the results of exit-polls of the analytical center EcooM during the voting.

According to Nikolai Lozovik, Central Election Commission was planning to publish the results of exit-poll after the completion of the voting process.

As Telegraf previously reported, exit-polls’ data, conducted by EcooM experts, show that over 72% of people have voted for the current head of state. The second place has been given to Andrei Sannikov, followed by Vladimir Niakliaeu (4-5% of the vote).

At the same time, the exit-polls by TNS Ukraine indicate that only about 40% of Belarusians voted for Lukashenko.
