29-year-old Ilya Dobrotvor, Kalodzishchy (Minsk Raion) villager, filed the documents to the CEC for registration of an action group of one person, i.e. himself. "I did it in protest against the fact that the Central Election Commission accepts the documents of whoever applies," Ilya Dobrotvor said.
According to Kalodzishchy villager, he has participated in the election of deputies of different levels. The current attempt to apply for registration of the action group consisting of one person is a public protest against the registration of the documents from all the comers, including nurses, the unemployed, Ilya Dobrotvor said, Belarusian partisan reports.
The representatives of the Central Election Commission didn’t require the applicant to give the list of the members of his action group «not to make the situation absurd.»
According to Ilya Dobrotvor, a woman, who accepted the document, asked for some reason about the applicant’s thought about the legal consequences of his action. «Do you know what legal consequences may follow your action?» she asked. «May I be arrested for filing the documents?», Ilya Dobrotvor asked.
