This was stated by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at the meeting with the CEO of China Aviation Industry Corporation (AVIC) Lin Tszominom in Beijing on October 11. "We were not mistaken by choosing China as the main cooperation partner 20 years ago," the head of state said.
«Naturally, such a huge country with such an enormous economy can’t but be interested in promoting their interests in Europe. If you go to Europe, come to its center. We will actively help and support you in Belarus,» Alexander Lukashenko said, BelTA informs.
«We have a unique position in the Customs Union. It also increases the opportunities for cooperation, the strengthening of this cooperation. You can actually trade free throughout the former Soviet Union,» the Belarusian leader said.
Turning to the general director of the corporation, Alexander Lukashenko stated that Belarusian factories are interested in joint work. Lin Tszomin also confirmed the willingness of cooperation with Belarus. «We are ready to invest Belarusian projects. I believe our cooperation will help to strengthen relations between our countries,» the AVIC head said.
China Aviation Industry Corporation is one of the largest state-owned Chinese corporations under the central government, is one of the leaders in the field of scientific research in the country.
