Head of Information of the Belarusian National Bank Anatoly Drozdov informed that Belarubank system fixed an outflow of ruble deposits. At the same time, according to the National Bank representative, this trend is not observed in other banks of the republic.
Thus, Anatoly Drozdov denies the information of Belarusbank head Nadezhda Ermakova that Belarusians have been actively removing the ruble deposits recently. According to Nadezhda Ermakova, individuals remove about Br5-7 billion a day according to the system, AFN.
However, the head of the National Bank said that the outflow of ruble deposits in Belarusbank is caused by «unsuccessful marketing policies of the bank», which has sharply reduced interest rates on deposits for the population in recent days. At the same time, about 60% of all population deposits is concentrated in this bank.
«Other Belarusian banks offer more favorable conditions for citizens to deposit ruble funds,» Anatoly Drozdov added.
