The president of Russia Dmitry Medvedev at the EAEC summit in Astana said that ten years' term from the moment of community formation was not so considerable. "Ten years is considerable term, but on the other hand, historically it's not so considerable. Sometimes, maybe, we seemed to stand still and to discuss the questions which had been solved long time before. But actually we moved quickly", the Russian leader said.
According to Dmitry Medvedev, EAEC integration rates were much faster, than in Europe. «It doesn’t mean that we move without problems. Sometimes we discussed the questions rather hotly, but, finally, we came to the agreements. And the today’s summit shows that «, the president of Russia said, BelTA informs.
Also the Russian leader emphasized that the big work on formation of the Common free market zone is also necessary. «But taking into account that, it is it really favourable and interesting affair, I am assured that we will agree on everything. I’m assured that all necessary decisions will be made in the shortest terms».
The next session of EAEC Interstate Council of the heads of the states is scheduled for the second half of December, 2010 in Moscow.
