Conscription Soldiers to Be Granted a Delay in Payment of Loans

Delays in payment of housing loans will be granted to the citizens, called for compulsory military service, who get them for construction, reconstruction or acquisition of residential premises. Such a norm is contained in amendments to the law "On military duty and military service".

Also according to the amendments, in Belarus there will be extended the category of the citizens who take the military oath. The deputies have made changes in the list of persons who are provided a draft deferment. In particular, the bill states that external student lost such a right now.

According to the military officials, the need to cancel such a deferment for this category of citizens is caused by the annual reduction in the number of conscripts.
