Criminal Case Initiated on the Fact of Accident on the Minsk Ring Road

Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus initiated a criminal case on the fact of six people's death in late June on the 22th kilometer of the Minsk ring road. It was reported on June 25 by deputy chief of Minsk traffic police, Vadim Garkun.

According to him, all the victims have already been identified, the investigation of a criminal case is being carried out, BelTA informs.

In total, from June 18 to 20 there were 57 accidents in Belarus, in which 14 people died and 69 were injured. During this same time, 649 drivers were arrested for drunken driving.

As Telegraph previously reported, Fiat Bravo, owned by unemployed woman — Minsk resident — born in 1991, left the roadway and crashed into a lamppost at high speed. At the time of accident, in the car there were six persons: an owner, Minsk resident (1989 year of birth), resident of Gatovo village of Minsk district (1989), resident of Braslav (1990), unknown man and woman.

All six passengers died at the accident.
