The current rise in food prices in Belarus is just the beginning. This was announced by the first vice-chairman of the Minsk Capital Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers (MCUEaE "), co-chairman of the presidium of the Union of Legal Entities of the "Republican Confederation of Business" (ULEs "RCB") Victor Margelov at a press conference in Minsk on February 8.
«We can’t say that the prices, especially for food, are unlikely to rise even with such a pace. Unfortunately, the current situation suggests faster price rising,» said Victor Margelov .
In addition, according to an expert for the Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Miasnikovich, an analytical note, touching the question of pricing, is now being prepared. In this case, Victor Margelov expressed hope that a note would be written by them and sent to the Belarusian Premier in the coming days.
