Customs Union Countries Should Enter the WTO Jointly, MFA

The Belarusian side continues to uphold the decision of Prime Ministers of the Customs Union that membership in the World Trade Organisation should be consolidated as a single customs territory. It was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Yevdochenko.

Belarus continues to keep to the position, approved by the Prime Ministers, of the three countries — Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan to join a single customs territory,» the Deputy Minister said, PRIME-TASS.

In addition, commenting the recent statements that Russia may soon complete negotiations on WTO accession, the representative of the Belarusian foreign ministry said: «The number of applications can not be transformed into some kind of tangible results and significant advancement of our partners.»
