President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko believes that the dictatorship policy is absolutely impossible in the prevailing conditions in Belarus. According to the Belarusian leader, the necessary resources are simply out in the country. "And secondly, it's not mine, not in my nature," the president said in an interview with German largest media.

«I’ve never been a dictator, so never will I, for I have no vocation for it. One should be a born dictator. I will never break the harmony of our society. And I will never go against the wishes of our society! Never! And the character of our people has always lacked such features as inclination to dictatorship or the desire to see the dictator on the throne. Never!», Alexander Lukashenko stressed.

According to the Belarusian leader, today only one country has the necessary resources «to be a dictatorship on a global scale»- the United States of America. According to Alexander Lukashenko, it is this state that conducts the dictatorship policy, BelTA informs.

«They wanted the war in Iraq, so they did; wanted to bomb Afghanistan (even earlier — Vietnam and so on and so forth), they fulfilled their intentions. And nobody accuses them of dictatorship. So where are the German Democratic journalists? But Lukashenko is a dictator,» the president of Belarus.

According to the Belarusian leader, it is very easy to talk about it with Germans, because this country directly faced the policies of dictatorship some time ago. «There’s only one conclusion: the dictatorship — is harmful to any society. And sooner or later it will lead to the collapse of the state and society,» Alexander Lukashenko stressed.

High-Ranking Privatization Never to be in Belarus, Lukashenko

President also stated that he considers the lack of a high-ranking privatization in the country as one of the strengths of the current Belarusian authorities. According to Alexander Lukashenko, the privatization process in Belarus is underway, though not so fast as many would like it to be. «But there will never be high-ranking privatization in Belarus,» the president said.

«If any our citizen offers higher price for shares, he’ll become a shareholder. If a German does, so he’ll be a shareholder. Terms are defined. It does not matter who you are: Russian, Belarusian and German. Give the money and receive shares under certain conditions,» Alexander Lukashenko said.

The Belarusian leader said that the country attracts investors to the privatization of primarily low profitability enterprises, incurring loses, but having the perspective of development. According to the president, investors of such enterprises will be provided the relevant preferences by the state, so that they could keep interest and stop worrying about their money.

Lukashenko Invited Germany to Participate in «Belaruskali» Privatization

At the same time, Alexander Lukashenko noted that successfully operating, highly profitable enterprise are also being privatized in Belarus. So, negotiations on «Belaruskali» stake acquisition are being currently held with Chinese investors. Alexander Lukashenko invited the German businessmen to take part in privatization of Belarusian companies, including «Belaruskali».

President of Belarus stressed that the privatization of state enterprises wasn’t caused by any crisis, and the current economic situation is not characterized as the «death of the economy.»

«What is very important for business is the fact that there has always been stability and peace; and very competent, intelligent, disciplined Belarusian people, not worse than the German people, live here. And if the Germans want to come here, especially considering the creation of the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia, we’ll let them come. Come any time, either before or after the election,» Alexander Lukashenko added.

According to the President, the Belarusian companies are open for German investors as well. «Terms of privatization are well discussed; we have defined them transparently and openly. And if these conditions are kept — you are welcome to Belarus,» Alexander Lukashenko said. At the same time, the president said that «the German investors and entrepreneurs should not simply watch, but move.»
