Documents on the CES Should Be Ready by January 2011, Shuvalov

Full package of agreements, forming Common Economic Space (CES) of the Customs Union, should be ready by January 1, 2011 and will enter into force no later than January 1, 2012. It was stated on July 5 by First Vice-Premier of Russia, Igor Shuvalov.

«There taken decision on that the governments of the three states will take measures to improve their performance to develop all the agreements, forming the CES, by January 1, 2011», Deputy Prime Minister of Russia said following the meeting of the EurAsEC Interstate Council, RIA Novosti informs.

Igor Shuvalov also recalled that originally  there had been an agreement on that by the beginning of next year there would be prepared only some part of agreements on the CES formation.

In coming weeks Russia may end differences with the WTO, Shuvalov

Moreover, First Vice-Premier of Russia reported that in coming weeks Russia might resolve all disputes with the WTO. «The Russian Federation has the smallest number of differences with our trading partners, we believe that we have all opportunities to end these differences in coming weeks», Igor Shuvalov said, Reuters reports.

«And the way to complete the accession process tactically will be determined by the presidents of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus», Deputy Prime Minister of Russia stressed, saying that the Customs Union’s countries intended to join the WTO together.

Before that, as Telegraf reported, the president of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, also informed that Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan would join the World Trade Organization on consolidated basis, as it had been previously assumed.
