Dollar Exchange Rate Renews Its Historical Maximum

As a result of foreign currency trading in Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange on June 1, the U.S. dollar increased by five rubles comparing with the previous value. According to the rate of National Bank, on Wednesday, June 2, one dollar will cost 3.003 rubles and thereby renew the historical maximum.

Russian ruble exchange rate fell by 0.94 rubles to 96.65 Belarusian rubles per one Russian. Euro decreased by 28 rubles and amounted to 3.662 Belarusian rubles.

In relation to the currency basket, Belarusian ruble became stringer by 0.55% comparing with the previous value. On June 1, the cost of basket was 1020.57 rubles against 1026.1 rubles on Monday, May 31.

Since the beginning of this year, the rate of Belarusian ruble to the currency basket has appreciated by 1.52%, fell by 4.89% against the U.S. dollar, grew by 10.80% against euro, decreased by 2.10% against Russian ruble, AFN informs.

The previous maximum dollar value, as Telegraf reported, was recorded on March 25 of this year and amounted to 3.002 rubles.
