Ministry of Economy of Belarus set 103.27% price index in construction by its decision № 64 "On the index of prices in construction" of April 26, 2011 for April 2011. This is stated in the official report of the Ministry of Economy.
«The index growth, approved in April, is determined by the increased cost of construction materials, components and structures, the growth of tariffs for operation and maintenance of construction equipment, cargo transportation by road and rail, etc,» the Ministry noted.
Ministry of Economy has been setting the price index for construction monthly since July 2006, taking into account the costs of growth in the overall index of construction — assembly work cost changes. In January 2011 the price index in construction was equal to 101.52%, February — 102.81%, March — 101.8%.
