Esfandiar Rahim Mashae, Chief of Staff of Iran, stated that the Iranian party prepared everything to start Belarusian industrial oil recovery on Jofeir oilfield.
This project, which was discussed in details during Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei’s visit to Minsk this winter, is favourable to both states, BelTA informs.
«Iran does not have closed themes and restrictions in cooperation with Belarus in political, economic and other areas», the Iranian official said.
Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei added that the Iranian party «is interested in the Belarusian friends to become our partners in oil projects. And we favoured that in every possible way».
According to the Chief of Staff of Iran, all the questions connected with cooperation in oil sphere with Belarus, in particular in joint operation on Jofeir oilfield, are under his personal control.
The official didn’t also exclude possibility that the president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko could visit Iran in a near-term outlook. It may happen, when practical realisation of the project is started.
