Five Cars Collided at Traffic Lights in Belarus

Sunday, March 20, around 19:50, a Peugeot car collided with a Volkswagen car, moving in the same direction, which stopped at red lights at the intersection of 28th July Street and October Revolution Street in Brest. As a result of the traffic accidents, a Renault car and two Mercedes cars were hit as well. Peugeot driver was hospitalized with an open brain injury.

In addition, a resident of Brest, born in 1960, had his nose broken, as well as bruises. Other members of accident were not injured, traffic police of Brest and Brest region informed.

At the moment, the accident is under investigation; Peugeot driver’s blood was taken for analysis. It’s the first accident, involving such a number of vehicles, in Brest for 2011.
