In Belarus, from August 11 of this year, gas price for individual entrepreneurs and legal entities increased from 632.5 thousand to 716 thousand rubles per thousand cubic meters without VAT (or by 13.2%). The decision is contained in the decree № 122 of the Ministry of Economy made on August 5, 2010.
«Due to the increase of purchase price for natural gas in the Russian Federation, as well as changes of general economic conditions of production, there is a need to revise natural gas prices for businesses entities and individual entrepreneurs of the Republic», reported in the Ministry of Economy.
«Moreover, in order to create more favorable environment for children’s homes and children’s villages (towns) functioning, the above-mentioned decree establishes gas price for this group of consumers at a level of prices for the population», noted in the ministry.
Taking into account that ultimate consumers to pay for natural gas, consumed in August 2010, only in September, prices for natural gas, set by the above-mentioned decree, to be applied from August 11, 2010, reported in Economy Ministry.
