The head of the Russian gas monopolist Alexei Miller on Friday, on June, 18th, signed the order to found emergency response centre in connection with the situation of Russian gas delivery to Belarus. The head of "Gazprom" said about it in lobby of the St.-Petersburg economic international forum.
According to Alexei Miller, Gazprom prepares to restrict gas delivery of to Belarus since Monday, on June, 21st if the Belarusian party till this time doesn’t discharge the indebtedness for Russian gas delivery, «Interfax» informs.
As Telegraf informed, if Minsk doesn’t refund money for gas till June, 21st, Russia can reduce gas delivery to Belarus by 85 %. According to Alexei Miller, the Russian authorities made this «considering the cost of gas already delivered in June and debt amount of 192 million dollars».
However, as the head of Gazprom said, the Russian officials expect the repayment of gas debts by Belarus, formed as a result of payment for deliveries in 2010 at the 2009-year price of 150 dollars for one thousand cubic metre instead of contract 169 dollars in the first quarter.
