General Prosecutor's Office Prolonged Investigation of Terrorist Attack on April 11

Prosecutor General of Belarus has prolonged a criminal investigation into the explosion, which occurred in Minsk subway on April 11. "The investigation is at an advanced stage," told in the office. Criminal Procedure Code provides two months for preliminary investigation, but in some cases it may be extended.

As Telegraf previously reported, the terrorist attack at «Kastrychnitskaya» subway station in Minsk claimed lives of 15 people, more than 200 injured. At present, 13 of them are still in hospitals. Two residents of Vitsebsk are accused of the crime.
