Law enforcement agencies of Gomel region initiated a criminal case against 24-year-old social teacher of Gomel gymnasium № 10. According to investigation, from November to December 2009, a young man distributed child pornography via Internet. It was reported in the police department of Gomel Regional Executive Committee.
The young man has recently graduated from university and was sent to work in Gomel gymnasium as a social teacher. During the preliminary investigation, officers of internal bodies discovered that he had placed pornographic materials with minors’ images in local computer network. Now, the investigators are trying to find out where the young man took child porn from and if he was engaged in its production.
During preliminary investigation, police department of Gomel Regional Executive Committee initiated a criminal case under part 2 of article 343/1 of the Criminal Code of Belarus against Gomel teacher, Ezhednevnik informs.
This is not the first criminal case related to the distribution of child porn, filed by Belarusian law enforcers lately. Earlier, as Telegraf already reported, Grodno law enforcement officers initiated a criminal case against 44-year old doctor of Grodno regional children’s hospital. The man is suspected of that over not less than four years he has been filming and distributing child pornography via Internet.
