The granddaughter of President Alexander Lukashenko Victoria Lukashenko acted in the new Russian drama "Fortune-telling by candlelight," which premiere is expected on the channel "Russia 1" the other day. It is a romantic story of Cinderella with extrasensory abilities, who came to conquer Moscow and found her love in the capital.
The film was being shot in Minsk — this film set has long been familiar to the channel «Russia 1.» It starred «Kamenskaia,» Messing,» «Men Don’t Cry,» «Hunt for Piranha.» But the director of «Fortune-telling by candlelight,» Vadim Derbenev («On the corner of the Patriarch,» «Secret of the Blackbirds,» «The Woman in White») worked in Minsk for the first time, but was very satisfied with the local conditions. «First, Minsk is not so crammed with ads, like Moscow, he says — and much easier to deal with from an administrative point of view. We used to shot in Moscow in the Khamovniki, where one side of the street refers to one council, the other — to another. Hardly ever the actor had crossed the road and we’d moved the camera there — a policeman approached. And what the «Siberian taiga» we’ve shot in Minsk! It’s just impossible in Moscow.
Both Russian and Belarusian actors have been invited to act in the movie. They are such well-known Russian stars as Tatiana Kaziuchits (the main character Marina Stenich), Anna Bolshova, Anatoli Lobotski, Eduard Truhmenev, Alexander Lenkov, Leonid Kulagin, as well as the Belarusian actors- Vladimir Hostiukhin, Svetlana Kozhemiakina and 12-year-old Vicka Lukashenko (she was 11 when being shot in the film), «Moskovski Komsomolets.»
She got the role of the protagonist in his childhood. The young actress came with security at the movie set, but nothing else stressed her star status; she was not capricious and carried out her work professionally. By the way, this is not her first experience in the film — she has already acted in the Belarusian comedy «On the back of a black cat» before «Fortune-telling by candlelight.»
