Holders Keep only 70% Gas Reserves, Snopkov

Storages of Belarus keep 658.2 million cubic meters gas reserves, which is around 70% of the plan only. This was reported by the Economy Minister Nikolai Snopkov at the meeting of the presidium of the Council of Ministers on October 12.

«On October 6 natural gas reserves totaled 658.2 million cubic meters in storages, or 70.7% of the plan on November 20, 2010,» the head of the Ministry of Economy said.

In general, the Ministry of Economy welcomed work on the national economy for the autumn-winter 2010-2011, BelTA informs.

In particular, speaking about the stockpiling of furnace fuel oil, Nikolai Snopkov reported that its volume totaled almost 557 thousand tons, or 116% against the plan on October 1. While stocks of fuel in the Ministry of Energy organizations are 414 thousand tons, or 103.5% of the task established on October 1. Utilities system organizations provided stocks of furnace fuel oil in the amount of 29.3 thousand tons, or 147% to the plan.

Also on October 1, «Beltopgaz» enterprises produced 2.5 million tons of peat, which is 101% of the annual plan. The actual briquettes sample for January-September 2010 amounted to almost 611 thousand tons, or 157% of the plan on October 1.

As the Minister of Economy noted, the application of population and budget organizations for the supply of coal, peat and wood are being executed smoothly in all areas, and stocks of these fuels are being replenished right after their implementation.
