IAEA to Help to Prepare Personnel of Belarusian Nuclear Power Station

IAEA will deliver to Belarus computer training system for preparation of the personnel involved in the program of nuclear power of Belarus. The representative of the Ministry of Energy of Belarus said about it today, on July, 19th.

«Delivery of computer training system for preparation of the Belarus personnel involved in the program of nuclear power is provided within the limits of realization of the project of the international technical help «, the representative of the Ministry of Energy said in, RIA Novosti informs.

The representative of the Ministry of Energy stated that the training system would be established in the directorate of nuclear station building, Department for Nuclear Power of the Ministry of Energy, Department for Nuclear and Radiating Safety of the Ministry of Emergency Measures, incorporated Institute of power and nuclear researches and in the higher educational institutions of the country which are carrying out preparation of nuclear power experts.

In July this year the developer and the supplier of the system, consortium CA&R (Germany) and «IT Slavutych» (Ukraine) presented the pilot version of the program. The representative of the Ministry of Energy said that the analysis of the given version with participation of IAEA experts was carried out , then its pre-production operation would be organized. «End of work on delivery of training system and representation of its final version is scheduled for November, 2010», the representative of the ministry said.
