In March the Public Sector Wages Rose by 3.1%, Belstat

 The National Statistics Committee reported that in March the nominal gross average wage in public sector industries increased by 25.1 thousand rubles or by 3.1% comparing with February. According to Belstat, in March, the average public sector wage amounted to 830.3 thousand rubles.

In March, public health workers got an average of 820.4 thousand, in education sphere — 755.9 thousand, in science and scientific services — 1.534 million rubles (in SRI — 1.511 million rubles, of which in the National Academy of Sciences — 1.4 million rubles), BelTA informs.

The average wage of employees of physical culture and sports’ organizations was equal to 1.378 million rubles, while the workers of culture and art got 804 thousand rubles.

However, when calculating the average salary in the public sector in Belarus for the first three months of 2010, then it amount to 811.4 thousand rubles.
