International Transport Went up in Prices in Belarus

May 26, State Enterprise "Minsktrans" raised fares on buses regularly operating on international routes. Fares went up in proportion to the National Bank's official devaluation of the ruble — an average of 55%.

As it became known to Telegraf, the rates growth affected the following routes: Minsk-Warsaw (17:40), Minsk-Vilnius (1:30, 8:20, 11:00), Minsk-Druskininkai (23:55), Minsk-Kaliningrad (5:40), Minsk- Kaunas (7:20), Minsk- Kiev (22:45), Minsk-Moscow (18:10), Minsk- Riga (10:00), Minsk- Riga via Daugavpils (21: 30), Minsk-Vilnius via Riga (23:30), Minsk- St. Petersburg (17:00), Minsk-Tallinn (15:30).

As Telegraf previously reported, fares on the international trains grew by 36%-81%, according to price on the site of Minsk branch of Belarusian railway station. In particular, travel in second-class trains № 26 and № 28 from Minsk to Moscow went up from Br124.050 to Br195.500 (57.6%) in the compartment — from Br244.080 to Br388.310 (by 59.1%), in sleeper — from Br485.620 to Br775.820 (by 59.8%).
