The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus has video footage confirming the guilt of the Russians Ivan Gaponov and Artem Breus, who were detained in Minsk and are accused of the case on mass disorder on December 19. Alexander Shareiko, deputy chief of the MIA main department of criminal investigation, said about this on February 15.

«Unsanctioned rally, which started in the evening of December 19, escalated into riots, including messes and resisting authorities. A criminal case was initiated under the article 293 of the Criminal Code of Belarus» — recalled Alexander Shareiko.
In turn, head of the Department of Citizenship and Migration Aleksey Begun said that both the citizens of Russia and the citizens of Belarus commit the crimes in Belarus and Russia.
According to the MIA, the Belarusians committed about 1.5 thousands crimes in Russia last year, and the Russians committed in Belarus more than half of all crimes committed by the foreign citizens.
Aleksey Begun also said that the representatives of the Belarusian Interior Ministry and the Federal Migration Service of Russia met recently in Moscow. In particular, they discussed the draft program of establishing a common migration area, which should start in 2012. In addition, they talked about creating a common visa area of the Union State.
Meanwhile, as Telegraf informed, the date of the hearing in the case of the detained Russians has not been determined yet.
Russia citizens Artem Breus and Ivan Gaponov were arrested at mass demonstrations on December 19 in Minsk. They were released on December 29 after serving a 10-day arrest for «violation of the order of organization or holding mass events or picketing». However on the same day they were arrested again.
Artem Breus and Ivan Gaponov were charged on January 5 in a criminal case on the organization and involvement in the riots that took place in Minsk after the presidential elections under Article 293 of the Criminal Code of Belarus, which is punishable by imprisonment for a term of 15 years. Later the Russians were charged only of complicity in the riots that threatened with imprisonment for a term of three to eight years.
