A group of Israeli police experts, involved in researching the mechanism of the device, exploded during the attack on April 11 in Minsk subway, finished its work in Belarus on April 17. The head of the group, Captain Igor Pekerman, noted in the report that evidence, found by the Belarusian specialists at the blast site, corresponds to the type of device, exploded at "Kastrychnitskaya" subway station. The statement does not mention the type of explosive device.

The head of Israeli experts submitted a report to the Chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of Israel to Belarus Assaf Braha. Under the laws of Israel, police experts were not allowed to meet with media representatives during investigation on site of the attack.

The delegation of Israeli experts arrived in Minsk on April 12 at the invitation of the Belarusian authorities. The delegation consisted of seven people: medical experts, experts to combat terror, police experts to identify the mortal remains and representatives of the General Security Service. On the basis of their specialization, the Israeli criminologists have investigated the mechanism of action of the explosive device, but were not directly engaged in searching for terrorists.

Upon arrival in Minsk, the experts immediately headed to the place of attack, where the Belarusian specialists had already been working. The head of the Israeli delegation praised the work of their Belarusian colleagues. He stressed in the report that «ways of investigating a crime or a terrorist act are the same in all countries.» The Israeli embassy also reported that Igor Pekerman had also pointed out to «systematicness and coherence, enabling the Belarusian service not to miss the slightest detail with regards to the explosive device during the investigation of the explosion.»

«While working in Belarus, Israeli experts received all necessary assistance of the Belarusian service. It was very important for us that «Kastrychnitskaya» subway station hadn’t been functioning prior to our arrival. We realize how untypical it is to suspend work of such an important and busy subway station pending the arrival of foreign experts,» said in his report Igor Pekerman.
