President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko during his visit to regions affected by the Chernobyl disaster, said that it is unacceptable to profit at the expense of people at a crucial moment for the Belarusian economy. Head of State laid the responsibility for control over the situation with the prices on local authorities. They should prevent them from unreasonable increase, the president said.

Visiting Luninets and Luninets region on April 25, Alexander Lukashenko mentioned also the topic of agricultural production, BelTA informs.
«We need to determine accurately the crops that we can cultivate here in Polesie. If, for example, nothing but strawberries grows here, so we must give priority to strawberries and cultivate them. But we must not sow that does not give good results. Do not continue to live according to the antiquated methods. It is necessary to specialize and to cultivate those crops that must be here», the Belarusian leader said.
Alexander Lukashenko once again raised the issue of discipline, prudent and responsible officials’ approach to their work. «There are still the questions to the leaders and the chairmen of district executive committees. There are also some questions to the governors, mostly of sluggishness. This year’s press will be toughest on our officials», the president said.
