The leader of the "Union for modernization" Ales Michalevic said that in case of his non-registration as a candidate for president of Belarus, his group will support the BPF candidate Rigor Kastuseu. "In case of registration of Kastuseu, we'll support him, or will focus all the forces on observation," the politician said.
«Let me explain such a choice. We disagree with Kastuseu only on tactical matters. The strategic plan is committed to the common goal — to strengthen political and economic independence of Belarus. In addition, we take part in a civil action «Belarusian choice» together. Therefore, such support would be most logical,» Ales Michalevic writes in his blog.
«Our group can’t actively support other candidates, some of which don’t hide their pro-Russian position. Therefore, the focus will be on the lookout,» the politician added.
